Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 6 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 cup cold sparkling water
- ice

In the bottom of a glass, gently muddle the basil leaves with the lime juice for about 10 seconds — this releases the aromatic oils without shredding the leaves into bitter bits.

Blend the strawberries with a splash of water until smooth, then strain if you prefer a pulp-free drink.

Pour the strawberry puree into the glass with the muddled basil, add ice.

Top with sparkling water and stir gently before serving.
