Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
- 1 tsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
- pinch of cinnamon, for topping
Method

Warm the almond milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming, but don't let it boil.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and sweetener — adding vanilla after the milk comes off the heat keeps its aroma from cooking away.

Froth the milk with a handheld frother or whisk vigorously until foamy.

Pour into a mug and dust the foam with a pinch of cinnamon before serving.
