Seven Layer Magic Bars (Dairy-Free)
Pressing each layer down firmly before adding the next is what keeps the bars from sliding apart into a crumbly mess once sliced.

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup dairy-free butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) coconut condensed milk (dairy-free, sugar-free if available)
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Method
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix almond flour and melted dairy-free butter together, then press firmly into a parchment-lined 8x8 pan to form the crust.
- 2
Pour the coconut condensed milk evenly over the crust.
- 3
Sprinkle the shredded coconut evenly over the condensed milk, pressing down gently with your hands to help it adhere.
- 4
Sprinkle chocolate chips, then pecans over the top, pressing each layer down firmly before adding the next — this firm pressing at every stage is what compacts the layers together so they hold as sliceable bars instead of sliding apart loosely once cut.
- 5
Bake 25-28 minutes until the coconut is golden. Cool completely, then chill 1 hour before slicing for the cleanest cuts.
