Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp tamari (for marinating)
  • 6 cups shredded napa cabbage
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 tbsp tamari (for dressing)
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp allulose
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

Method

  1. 1

Marinate chicken in 2 tbsp tamari for 15 minutes, then grill or pan-sear 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Slice thin.

  2. 2

Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until golden — this brief toasting brings out an oil and aroma raw sesame seeds simply don't have.

  3. 3

Whisk tamari, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and allulose for the dressing.

  4. 4

Toss cabbage and carrots with the dressing.

  5. 5

Top with sliced chicken and toasted sesame seeds.
