Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cucumber, chopped
- 1 green apple, cored and chopped
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 frozen banana, sliced

Add almond milk and spinach to the blender first, blending on high for 30 seconds until completely smooth — blending the greens with the liquid before anything else is what fully breaks down their fibrous cell walls; adding them on top of thicker ingredients leaves stringy, unblended bits throughout the finished smoothie.
